Created for the May 1999 issue of Slant, a publication of the Art Directors Club of Houston (ADCH), this montage was part of an piece promoting the 1999 ADCH Art Auction. Here is the story:
At the 1995 ADCH Art Auction Maureen Miggins (floating, middle) and fiancé Pat Swanson (not pictured) purchased a mission style chair (resting, bottom, 2 pictured for symmetrical effect) created by Richard Loper (floating, in clouds) of El Dorado Woodworks. Pat and Maureen get married later that year. In 1996 they buy a mission style queen size bed directly from Richard. Nine months later their first child Fiona (floating, right) is born. Patrick (floating, left) follows about a year and a half later.
